Note 12—Subsequent Events On March 18, 2016, at a special meeting of shareholders, two proposals were approved by shareholders: (1) to increase the total number of authorized shares of common stock of the Company from 200,000,000 to 250,000,000 and (2) to increase the total number of shares of common stock authorized for issuance under the Company’s 2012 Equity Incentive Plan from 5,000,000 to 7,000,000. Subsequent to quarter end, a third-party licensor resolved its litigation with Progenics (see Note 6 above). No financial payment was made by either party to the other in connection with the settlement of the litigation. As such, CytoDyn remains fully liable for the previously accrued license fee of approximately $930,000 due on June 30, 2016. |
